John Roberts

John Roberts is a 26 year veteran with a major metropolitan police department where he serves as a supervisor and a firearms instructor.  John is an approved concealed carry instructor with the Illinois State Police and a registered firearm instructor with the State of Illinois Department of Financial & Professional Regulation as well as an approved Utah concealed carry instructor. John was employed by the U.S. Secret Service and received firearms training at the U.S. Secret Service Training Center in Beltsville, MD and at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center in Glynco, GA.  John is certified by the Illinois Law Enforcement Training and Standards Board as a firearms and carbine instructor.  John is also a NRA certified basic pistol instructor and a range safety officer.  John has received training from Glock and Sig Arms as an armorer and regularly participates in a variety of training in order to maintain the most current information available.

Rick Wiser

Rick Wiser is a 26 year veteran with a major metropolitan police department where he serves as a supervisor and a firearms instructor.  Rick is certified by the Illinois Law Enforcement Training and Standards Board as a handgun and carbine instructor.  Rick is an approved concealed carry instructor with the Illinois State Police and a registered firearm instructor with the State of Illinois Department of Financial & Professional Regulation and an approved Utah concealed carry instructor. Rick is also an active NRA member. Rick is also a NRA certified basic pistol instructor and a range safety officer.  Rick has received training from Glock as an armorer and regularly participates in a variety of training in order to maintain the most current information available.

Neil Francis

Neil is a 29 year veteran of the Chicago Police Department from 1987-present, with over 30 years firearms experience.  Neil successfully completed the National Rifle Association (NRA) Law Enforcement Firearms Handgun/Shotgun Instructor School and is certified by the NRA and registered by the State of Illinois as a Law Enforcement Handgun and Shotgun Instructor.  Neil is also an approved Utah concealed carry instructor.

Neil is a Life Member of the National Rifle Association (NRA), Illinois State Rifle Association (ISRA) and Fraternal Order of Police (FOP) Lodge #7.

Neil has been assigned to the Detective Division for the past 18 years from 1996-present, and has been a member of the Detective Division Heavy Weapons Team (HWT) for the past 10 years from 2004-present.  As a member of the Detective Division HWT, Neil is currently qualified with the M4 Carbine Rifle, M1 Benelli Semi-Auto Tactical Shotgun, M870 Police/Riot Shotgun, M9 Beretta 9mm Semi-Auto Pistol and other numerous semi-auto pistols and revolvers.

Neil has prior military experience and was honorably discharged after serving proudly in the United States Marine Corps (USMC) from 1983-1986.  Neil was a rifle and pistol expert in the Marine Corps having qualified with the M16 Rifle and M1911 .45cal Semi-Auto Pistol.  Neil was an M60 Machine Gunner in the Marine Corps Infantry and Marine Security Forces having qualified with the M60 Machine Gun and M2 “Ma Deuce” Browning .50cal Machine Gun.  Neil also received training while in the Marine Corps with the M870 Military/Riot Shotgun, M14 Rifle, M203 40mm Grenade Launcher, M72 Light Anti-Tank Weapon (LAWS) Rocket Launcher, M249 Squad Automatic Weapon(SAW), M67 Fragmentation Hand Grenade, M18 Anti-Personnel Claymore Mine and other numerous incendiary and explosive devices.
